Building a better park
for YOU
The
Blair Parks Committee is made up of all volunteers, it is the job of this
committee to make recommendations' to the Town Council for the improvement
of the park. It is an open committee and any Blair resident can be a
member.
We
encourage anyone interested to attend Committee meetings. Each 2nd
Monday of the month a meeting will be held at 7:p.m. at the Fire
Station, near the entrance to the park.
We are now working on:
1. An RV park to be located at the west end
of the Park just north of the Fire station.
2. a Walking Path to be located on the
north side of the park that would run the full length of the Park
3. More Play ground equipment
If you are interested in donating Your
time, money or items that could improve the Park, Please Contact:

The Parks
Committee can only bring Items as suggestion to the Town council, and has no
authority to implement any changes to the Park without the town council
approval
We are building a Memory Wall at the Blair
City Park to honor our loved one’s (past and present)
The start date will be in 2010 By that time we should have enough bricks
sold to complete the wall as it was designed. If you would like to honor
someone, or as a memorial, The bricks pictured above (5x3x2) are on sale for
$35.00. Contact Crickett Davis. @ 580-563-2621
We are also planning a Veterans Wall too. What a Great
way to honor those who served our country.
Or you can go to our ORDER FORM page, just fill out
the Form and mail it in with your check and we will take care of the rest.
